IPL Treatments

Our Syneron Aurora machine uses Intense Pulse Light (IPL) therapy for different purposes such as: hair reduction, skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, and acne treatments.

The machine uses elos technology which combines light and radio frequency energies. The light is converted to thermal energy raising the temperature of the target tissue. Radiofrequency enery is attractecd to the heated targets, raising their temperature to the level required for effective treatment of the area being treated.

All of the treaments must be done on people with lighter skin tones, and they must not be tanned, otherwise pigmentation of the skin can be lost. The hair reduction treatment is for people with dark hair and lighter skin tones, as it does not work well for blondes.

 VelaShape

VelaShape contours, shapes and slims the body by improvng cellulite and reducing circumference size of the treated area.

We see a great differnece in cellulite reduction and the smoothing out of skin where compacted cellulite (often referred to as cottacge cheese) lies. VelaShape treatments are 20 minutes long per area, and are to be completed once weekly for 4-8 weeks. Syneron, the makers of the VelaShape machine, suggest that clients complete 3-4 sessions of the 4-8 week treatments within one year to see the best results.

The treated areas are often left smooth, sexy and ready to be seen. The newly recontoured area has left patients very happy with their results, and keeps them coming back.

Dermal Fillers

Fillers are similar to botox, but they were made to treat wrinkles and folds in any area on the face lower than the eyes, anything from the crows feet and up is typically treated by botox. The chemical composition of each filler is different, and they are typically thicker in substance when compared to botox.

Here at LASERDOCS, we offer a variety of fillers including Juvaderm II, Juvaderm Ultra, Juvaderm Voluma, Radiesse, Restalyne, and Restalyn Pearlane. We have differnt size syrings in some of the brands, so be sure to know which one is right for you before you have the injection.

Our doctor can give you a complimentary consultation prior to your treatment, or you can come in and have a consultation and the procedure done all in the same day.

Please call us to make an appointment (781) 270-1144
